The expansion of the Gymnasium School No. 8 in Brasov by building a new building represents a necessity generated by demographic growth, changes in educational policies and the need to adapt to modern school infrastructure standards. The project aims to meet the requirements of the local community, to ensure optimal conditions for the educational process and to contribute to the development of a safe, modern and inclusive learning environment. The general objective is to modernize the school infrastructure of the Municipality of Brasov and align it with technical, sanitary and comfort requirements. Objectives expected by making the public investment for the expansion of School No. 8 in Brasov: 1. Improving the conditions for the educational process • Creating a modern, safe and comfortable learning environment for students and teachers. • Providing the necessary spaces for the elimination of two-shift education. 2. Compliance with technical, sanitary and safety requirements • Alignment with national and European standards regarding school infrastructure, including accessibility for people with disabilities. • Compliance with fire safety regulations and other mandatory regulations. 3. Increasing the capacity of the school unit • Expanding the capacity to accommodate a larger number of students, considering the growth of the school population in the area. 4. Promoting inclusive and digital education • Equipping with laboratories, IT equipment and learning spaces adapted to modern requirements. • Facilitating the integration of students with special educational needs. 5. Reducing inequalities in access to quality education • Ensuring fair conditions for all students, regardless of social or economic status. 6.
