The purchase of 23 new electric locomotives with the ERTMS system, capable of circulating at a maximum speed of 160 km/h and hauling up to 16 railway carriages, destined for the transport of railways and the acquisition of maintenance and repair services, necessary to operate in optimal conditions of safety and comfort for the respective locomotive

The procurement will consist of: A) PRODUCTS: 1) 23 new electric locomotives with ERTMS systems, capable of running at a maximum speed of 160 km/h and hauling up to 16 passenger cars, according to the minimum requirements specified in the Specifications (TS); 2) Other equipment and accessories, according to the requirements specified in the TS. B) SERVICES: 1) Maintenance and repairs for a period of 20 years. The services are necessary for the operation of the respective electric locomotives, according to the requirements specified in the TS; 2) Training of personnel in the exploitation, operation of electric locomotives and software applications; 3) Transportation, insurance, commissioning, technical assistance during the warranty period. Considering the provisions of art. 221, paragraph (1), letter a) of Law no. 98/2016, updated, on public procurement, with subsequent amendments and completions, of art. 72, paragraph (1), letter (a) of Directive 2014/24/EU and the conclusions of the feasibility study, a REVIEW CLAUSE will be provided in the procurement contract, the possibility of supplementing the maintenance period by another 20 years (20 years +20 years), according to the requirements of the CS; Supplementing the purchased quantities will be possible without organizing a competitive procedure, by concluding additional documents to the procurement contract.
