Opportunity Overview

The development objective of the School Sector Transformation Program Operation for Nepal is to increase equitable access and improve the quality and governance of school education in Nepal. The program will support the school education sector plan (SESP) through sector wide approach (SWAp) modality along with other development partner (DPs) and will largely follow the collaboration modality of the previous school sector development program (SSDP). The program supports three results areas (RA): RA 1: improved teacher capacity, assessments, and early grade learning; RA 2: improved equity in access to basic and secondary education; and RA 3: strengthened education governance and system resilience.
