• The Federal Government of Somalia has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of The Somalia Productive Resilient, and Inclusive Growth (SPRING) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payment under the contract for Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Support of Biometric Capture Devices (IRIS & Fingerprint) for NIRA Multi-Modal ABIS Project for National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA), Somalia. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
