Southeastern Corridor Road Asset Management Project

The development objective of Southeastern Corridor Road Asset Management Project for Liberia aims to support the recipient’s efforts to enhance road connectivity for residents living along selected sections of the Ganta‐to‐Zwedru Road Corridor, and to improve institutional capacity to manage the road sector. This project has three components. 1) The first component, Road Improvement and Maintenance Works, aims to support rehabilitation and maintenance of a minimum of 100 kilometers of the Ganta‐Zwedru road corridor through a fifteen‐year PPP arrangement. 2) The second component, Road Safety, aims to finance road infrastructure safety enhancements along the project corridor and implementation of aspects of the government of Liberia’s road safety action plan. 3) The third component, Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building, aims to finance capacity building support to the road sector’s institutional reform process, support to educational institutions, and operating costs.
