Opportunity Overview

The objective of the Productive Social Safety Net II Project in Tanzania is to improve access to income-earning opportunities and socio-economic services for targeted poor households while enhancing and protecting the human capital of their children. This project is comprised of two components. The first component will provide beneficiary households with an integrated package of support, including a foundational package and livelihoods support. The two subcomponents are: (1) Cash Transfers; (2) Public Works. The second subcomponent is Strengthening Institutional Capacity and Integrated Delivery Systems. The two subcomponents are: (1) Institutional Capacity Enhancement, and; (2) Integrated delivery system development.
