Austria – General construction work for pipelines – "Rohrbauarbeiten für Fernwärme-Netzausbau"

The tendered services comprise the following two lots: • Lot 1: Pipeline construction work for district heating – network expansion starting in 2026 • Lot 2: Network densification. A single award of both lots to one contractor is planned. Despite the division of the work into Lot 1 and Lot 2, separate awarding of the contract is not planned. Plastic-jacketed pipes, including leak detection systems and pipe static calculations, are to be used (e.g., ISO Plus). The contractor should be able to construct up to 3 km in Lot 1 and up to 2 km in Lot 2 within one construction year, as required by the client. Furthermore, the scope of work includes the installation of the primary-side internal piping from the shut-off valve after the building entry point to the heat transfer station, including the necessary core drilling in the connection building.
