De opdracht kadert binnen het project ‘Watertoegangspoort Bergerven’ waarbij er een nieuwe toegangspoort tot het Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen wordt gecreëerd ter hoogte van ’t Eilandje in Neeroeteren. Dit grotere project werd opgedeeld in meerdere deelprojecten. Het voorwerp van deze opdracht betreft ‘deelproject 1: fietsbrug – omgevingsaanleg Eilandje – aantakkingen Bergerven’, meer bepaald de aanleg ervan. Onderhavige opdracht is een overheidsopdracht voor werken een heeft als voorwerp het aanstellen van een aannemer die de volgende werken dient uit te voeren: 1. Productie en plaatsing fietsbrug over Zuid-Willemsvaart 2. Omgevingsaanleg eilandje: taluds, wegenis, fietspaden, verhardingen, groenaanleg 3. Aanleg fietspaden naar Warstraat en Bergervenstraat (linkeroever Zuid-Willemsvaart)
