Belgium – Construction work – Marché public de travaux portant sur les abords d'un nouvel hôpital - Marché 06 : Abords

This Special Specification document concerns the landscaping surrounding Phase II of the CHWAPI hospital extension project in Tournai. This contract includes the development of the area bounded to the south by Rue de la Citadelle, to the east by Rue de Barges, and buildings 800 and 700 of Phase I. It also includes the transformation and extension of the existing waste management area to adapt it to the needs of the single site. The total area to be developed is approximately 18,000 m². This work includes: • Installation of paving and earthworks throughout the area; • Planting; • Installation of street furniture, lighting, and equipment; • Development of the 4 interior patios (total area of +/-1,600 m²); • Development of the logistics yard (+/- 1,280 m²) and parking access ramps (+/- 750 m²); • Refurbishment of the flooring in the existing waste area (+/- 500 m²). These areas include both bare earth and concrete slabs where waterproofing has already been installed. The contract includes the construction of: • three canopies for the parking lot exits; • one canopy over the logistics yard; • two additional canopies in the existing waste area, as well as a new storage room; • metalwork (handrails and guardrails both outside and in the parking lots); • Acoustic screens on the roof of building 400 • Additional guardrails on the roof of building 500. The work will be carried out in several phases depending on the availability of the premises by the co-contracting companies.
