Opportunity Overview

The purpose of this contract is to replace the irradiator for biological or blood samples using a Cesium-137 radioactive source with an X-ray irradiator in order to guarantee a constant dose and reduce complications related to natural radioactive decay. The replacement is also necessary due to the age of the Erasme irradiator (the half-life of the Cesium-137 source has been exceeded). The bidder must provide, for information purposes, a technical data sheet describing each main component of the irradiator.
