Belgium – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Design & Build - Brabantnet – Airport tram: Tunnel under the A201

With a view to realizing the Airport tram project, as part of the overarching Brabantnet project, De Werkvennootschap aims to award a Design & Build contract for the construction of an underpass under the A201, including the adjacent and connecting roads. This Assignment is thus part of the Airport tram project. The route of the Airport tram – of which this Assignment is a part – can be situated as follows: [see image in tender document] This Assignment concerns the route of the Airport tram from Leonardo Da Vincilaan in Machelen to Ringlaan on the domain of Brussels Airport Company. It involves the demolition of the existing road tunnel under the A201 and the construction of a new public transport tunnel under the A201 with access roads and the reconstruction of Leonardo Da Vincilaan, Olmenstraat, and Ringlaan.
