The purpose of this public procurement is to carry out repair activities in the outdoor artificial lighting system in six settlements of the municipality of Shumen. The repair activities cover the measures for replacing luminaires foreseen in the energy audit, as the measures include: The activity provides for technological renovation and modernization of the outdoor artificial street lighting system in the settlements of the municipality of Shumen - village of Dibich. The EE Audit Report, prepared for the needs of the project proposal, found that the existing luminaires are in poor condition and are at the end of their technical and operational life. A number of problems were found: missing diffusers or damaged ones, unhindered penetration of dust particles and moisture into the luminaires, low usability of the light flux, which leads to light pollution, ineffective lighting schedule, accidents, etc. Given the analyses, conclusions and recommendations in the Report, this activity includes the implementation of two measures: Dismantling of existing luminaires and delivery and installation of new luminaires (ECM 1). Under ECM 1, all luminaires that are not LED on the territory of the surveyed locations will be replaced with new ones. The measure includes dismantling of existing luminaires, delivery and installation of new luminaires, and construction works directly related to the reconstruction of the outdoor artificial lighting system(s).
