Swissgrid owns the Swiss transmission grid. As owner, it is responsible for the safe, reliable, and economical operation, as well as the development and maintenance of this critical infrastructure. For future line construction and substation projects, easements for transit rights and temporary contracts (e.g., for construction access roads, storage areas, etc.) are to be obtained centrally by a service provider. A central contact person for Swissgrid will be identified for this purpose, who, through its regional representatives, will obtain the necessary rights and successfully finalize the agreements.
