The Fislisbach school system comprises two kindergartens and a primary school with associated sports facilities, as well as a daycare center offering supplementary childcare and a music school. These educational services are located at the central Leematten campus and are complemented by an external site with a double kindergarten. In the 2023/2024 school year, approximately 505 children attended the Fislisbach school, divided into 7 kindergarten classes and 19 primary school classes. The Leematten campus is located on plot 679, not far from the village center, and currently consists of 7 buildings. With the exception of a building constructed in 2017, the buildings date from 1965 to 1984. While the buildings have been continuously maintained, some require significant repairs in various areas. The open selection process aims to identify the general planner with the most advantageous offer, who will coordinate, plan, and implement the first phase of the refurbishment and maintenance, with total costs of approximately CHF 4.8 million. The refurbishment and maintenance measures, as well as the development of future needs, necessitate the creation of a comprehensive concept for the Leematten campus and the Fislisbach school. This comprehensive concept should not only bundle the refurbishment and maintenance measures into sensible packages over the five-year framework agreement, but also align these measures with the necessary relocations between buildings and the associated changes in use. Crucially, all measures and relocations must be aligned with the long-term vision for the Fislisbach campus and school by 2040.
