Service Contract Project: New Construction of the Wattwil Construction Services Center, Project Number P.602074. Detailed Description of Services: Planning services (architectural and engineering services) in accordance with Chapters 2 to 6 of the Guidelines for Tendering and Specifications: Architectural services, SIA sub-phases 32, 33, 41, 51, 52 and 53, in accordance with the Guidelines for Tendering and Specifications (according to SIA 102), and engineering services, SIA sub-phases 32, 33, 41, 51, 52 and 53, in accordance with the Guidelines for Tendering and Specifications (according to SIA 103), as well as the application of the BIM methodology. Project Objectives: The objective of the project is the creation of a functional real estate project(s) in which the functions of storage (indoor/outdoor), pre-assembly, training, office, and social spaces of all specialist services in the eastern network are combined as efficiently and effectively as possible within the given constraints. The real estate project(s) should not include reserves for future network and service expansion (concession extensions and third-party business); however, the construction measures should be upwardly compatible with future expansions/additions. The real estate project(s) should ensure short distances, modern facilities, and functional spaces for efficient work processes, while simultaneously maximizing employee effectiveness and improving occupational safety. The objective of the track area at the construction service center is to create an efficient and operationally appropriate infrastructure that meets the requirements of the AB-EBV (German Railway Construction and Operation Regulations) and ensures high availability. The track layout is designed with a focus on optimal topology to guarantee short operating routes, minimal shunting efforts, and the smooth execution of operational processes.
