The existing railway bridge will be replaced with a new structure due to its dilapidated condition and the planned widening of the road for pedestrians and cyclists. The new railway bridge will have a span of 25.90 m. The superstructure consists of a steel trough cross-section, which is fixed in the concrete abutments (integral bridge). The superstructure will be prefabricated in the factory and transported to the construction site in one piece using special transport. The abutments will be prefabricated on site. During a three-week closure of the railway line, the existing bridge will be dismantled, bored piles will be installed, and the abutments and superstructure will be lifted into place using a crawler crane. The reinforced concrete work for the foundations and the joining of the structural components will be carried out during the complete closure. After the complete closure, road construction and finishing work will be carried out.
