EBL intends to procure four high-quality 25 MVA power transformers (50kV / 13.6kV) (two are mandatory, two are optional). In addition to delivery, EBL requires various other services related to the delivery and installation of the transformers at the installation sites, as well as their connection to all surrounding systems (secondary equipment, grounding, etc.). A design phase will be conducted with the selected supplier to establish a mutual understanding of the required deliverables. If the design phase cannot be completed satisfactorily, the client is entitled to forgo further services from the supplier and to terminate the supply contract prematurely without incurring costs, or not to order any further work. The award of the contract, its conclusion, and the order placed after completion of the design phase are subject to approval by the relevant EBL bodies.
