Switzerland – Engineering design services – Jenaz, Bahnhofumbau / Projektverfasser (SIA-Phasen 41 – 53)

At Jenaz station, a platform compliant with the Disability Equality Act (BehiG) with a usable length of approximately 300 meters will be constructed at the station platform. This will require the construction of a retaining wall approximately 105 meters long. The project will also involve a complete adjustment of the track geometry and an increase in the length of the passing loop. The railway infrastructure will be supplemented with sidings. The track bed will be completely renewed. A new service building will be constructed to house the technical equipment. The overhead contact line, low-voltage, and signaling systems will be completely renewed. Additionally, a retaining wall will be planned to separate the railway from the national highway.
