Switzerland – Engineering services

The project involves the construction of the Vernier Sud partial interchange between the southern portal of the Vernier Tunnel and the Aigues-Vertes Bridge, connecting to the Route de Canada. The partial interchange includes a motorway entrance towards France and an exit from Lausanne. The permanent conversion of the hard shoulder between the Bernex interchange and the new partial interchange is also part of the project. This contract includes the services of a multidisciplinary contractor for the resumption and completion of Phase AP (development of the detailed design, including supporting the client during the permitting process): Civil engineer (route planning, engineering structures, and hydraulics); traffic engineer; environmental engineer (including noise specialist); operations and safety equipment engineer; architect; and landscape architect. These services are to be performed in accordance with national road standards and SIA standards 103, 108, and 112. This contract also includes services for the Canton of Geneva relating to two cantonal structures located within the ASTRA project perimeter. The feasibility studies for these two structures cover SIA phases 32 (preliminary design) and 33 (construction design).
