Within the Werdhölzli wastewater treatment plant site, several streets and the sewer lines running within the roadbed, including drainage shafts (primarily for stormwater and street drainage), require rehabilitation. Some street sections have already been rehabilitated in previous construction projects, while others exhibit moderate to severe damage. The condition of the streets was documented in a condition assessment conducted in December 2023. Based on this assessment, the areas were categorized into different priority levels (Priority 1 to Priority 4), totaling 11,912 m², as detailed in Part E of the Scope of Work, including appendices. The road network measures approximately 2.7 km in total. The condition of the sewer lines can be determined from the results of the CCTV sewer inspections (see Part E of the Scope of Work, Appendix 7). A GIS extract of the sewer lines within the project perimeter is included in Appendix 8. This extract contains information on their location, geometry, and material specifications (see also Appendix 9).
