Opportunity Overview
Based on the "Regulations on the Operation of the Distribution Network and Energy Supply of the Zurich Municipal Electricity Works (ewz) 732.210," ewz provides metering, control, and communication devices for billing purposes. Their installation and operation require physical dismantling, replacement, and installation. From 2025 to 2026, with annual options extending until the end of 2029 at the latest, ewz is awarding contracts for the dismantling, replacement, and installation of electricity meters, communication devices, and ripple control devices. These contracts arise from routine operations, audits, and random sampling. Key characteristics include the timely completion of orders with short lead times and the increased demands on planning.
