With this tender, the Canton of Thurgau, specifically the Office for Information Technology (AFI) in cooperation with the Thurgau Office Supplies, Teaching Materials, and Printing Center (BLDZ), is seeking the most advantageous offer for a new online shop. The provider will supply the following components of the IT system to the Canton of Thurgau as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for a minimum term of five years. This includes the provision of the necessary services as well as ensuring operation, maintenance, support, and regular updates. The new solution is expected to meet the requirements using standardized software. The existing BLDZ online shop, which primarily serves as a platform for the sale of office supplies and teaching materials to government offices and schools, requires a more modern, application-friendly, and well-structured online shop platform due to ongoing technological changes. In addition to government offices and schools (cantonal / extra-cantonal), part of the product range is also offered to private individuals, although these account for the smallest share of sales.
