Switzerland – Mass spectrometer

Delivery and installation of one Triple quadrupole inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer to Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland. The mass spectrometer is essential in radioanalytics due to its ability to provide highly sensitive and specific detection of trace radionuclides in complex matrices. The advanced sensitivity, precision, and ability to reduce interference through the triple quadrupole configuration make it ideal for quantifying low levels of radioisotopes in environmental, decommissioning, and nuclear samples. This ensures accurate and reliable measurements required for regulatory, safety, and research applications in radiochemistry and nuclear science. For details see the Requirements Specification PSI-BU96-001 Rev. 1.30.
