The Space and Infrastructure department of the Housing and Homelessness division of Social Institutions and Enterprises (R+I) commissions external transport companies for room and apartment relocations as well as apartment clear-outs (moving services). These are small-scale jobs or jobs where the actual workload cannot be definitively estimated in advance and which are often commissioned at short notice. Furthermore, these jobs regularly involve challenging situations in dealing with residents, requiring appropriate skills from the personnel deployed. This tender will select three transport companies with whom framework agreements will be concluded for the provision of moving services and apartment clear-outs. Currently, approximately 950 jobs are commissioned annually. There are also approximately 60 cancellations (or postponements) of individual jobs per year, the compensation for which will be stipulated in the contract to be concluded. Companies with a framework agreement are not entitled to a minimum number of jobs. The total volume for the duration of all framework agreements amounts to a maximum of CHF 5,000,000 per year.
