Switzerland – Scrub-removal work – N16.14 MP-080191 - Upn.Tavannes-Bözingenfeld - Travaux de défrichement TP2 (ID 10904)

The Tavannes – Bözingenfeld UPlaNS (Upper Plan) extends between kilometer markers 69.250 and 82.660 of the N16. This tender concerns exclusively the section between the La Heutte interchange [19] and the Biel-Nord interchange [23], namely from kilometer marker 76.100 to 82.660 (L = ~6.7 km). It is a Class 3 line in two separate sections: an uphill section (TP2) and a downhill section (TP3) between La Heutte and Biel-Nord. The main works in section TP2 (uphill section) include felling and clearing operations. The main services covered by this tender are: felling, processing, bucking, skidding, and stacking of logs; felling, processing, bucking, skidding, and stacking of scrubland (unprotected) or forested areas (protected or unprotected). • Sorting and on-site chipping, leaving the forestry clearing residues on the ground; • Transporting and piling the cuttings for reuse; • Loading, transporting, and externally processing the excess cuttings. The contractor is obligated to independently ascertain on-site the accessibility and characteristics of the affected trees and forest areas.
