With its approximately 2,700 employees, the Bern Cantonal Police ensures safety and public order in the Canton of Bern. The Cantonal Police places great importance on safeguarding the health of its employees, particularly in light of increasing stressors such as staffing shortages and digitalization. Furthermore, federal labor law obligates the Cantonal Police, as an employer, to implement all measures necessary to protect the health of its employees, based on experience, applicable according to the state of the art, and appropriate to the operational circumstances. With this tender, the Bern Cantonal Police is seeking a reliable external partner to provide medical services for its employees for the next four years. There is an option to extend the collaboration for a further two years. The medical services to be provided include, in particular, pre-employment medical examinations for applicants and periodic health checks for employees. It is essential that the external partner familiarizes itself with the structures, professional profiles, and culture of the Bern Cantonal Police. Furthermore, the future partner is expected to have digitized its processes in accordance with current technological standards. Modern infrastructure and easily accessible premises for the Bern Cantonal Police force are also required.
