The Binningen municipal administration has been using the GeSoft application for some time to manage its processes in the areas of EWK (Energy and Water Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). This solution is end-of-life and was discontinued on December 31, 2026. Therefore, the municipality of Binningen is required to evaluate and implement a successor solution for this application. The "BinNova" project was initiated for this purpose. The project aims to digitize the services of the municipal administration in a progressive and sustainable manner. The IT solutions to be implemented must align with the following goals of the Binningen municipal administration: Digitization: The municipality of Binningen aims to further develop its digitization capabilities by offering and processing at least 50% of its services paperlessly. Standardization: The municipality of Binningen uses standard solutions and processes for its core applications, enabling upgrades within a single day. Communication: Internal communication takes place within the core applications to largely eliminate the need for emails and ensure seamless workflows.
