The subject of the competition is a proposal for the modification of public spaces in front of the existing shopping center on Petra Křivky Street and a proposal for the change of the construction of the technological facility of Tepláren Brno, a.s., for multipurpose use (sports, leisure, cultural, or other), including modifications of adjacent outdoor areas for the purposes of a public sports facility (hereinafter referred to as the "multipurpose area"). The participants in the competition should propose the modification of the space so that it becomes a natural focal point of the city district, pedestrian connections in the location are improved, and the planned use of the multipurpose area is organically integrated into the area. The task of the design is also to visually calm traffic on Petra Křivky Street. The competition should address the integration of the shopping center building into the square area, including a footbridge over the road in Petra Křivky Street. The Client's interest is to obtain a pleasant space for movement and short-term stays of the public on the area not only in front of the existing shopping center, but also in the immediate vicinity of the Kamínky Elementary School in connection with the forecourt of the shopping center. Design a functional connection of the multi-purpose area with the square (the shopping center's forecourt), its architectural form with the superstructure and extension, and the form of the sports field behind the building.
