Czechia – Construction work – Revitalizace NPP Žehuňský rybník - 2. etapa

The subject of the public contract is the implementation of the work consisting in the revitalization of the Žehuň Pond, consisting in the removal of 210,150 m3 of sediment using a suction dredger (wet method). The sediment will be pumped into the drainage lagoon in the Žehuň cadastral area using a floating transport pipeline. The work will be carried out according to the project documentation prepared by ENVICONS s.r.o., Company Registration Number: 27560015, with its registered office at Hradecká 569, Polabiny, 533 52 Pardubice, which forms Annex No. 3 to this tender documentation (Annex No. 2 to the contract) and in the scope and volume specified in the list of construction works, supplies and services with a statement of measurements, which forms Annex No. 4. The public contract follows on from the completed 1st stage of the revitalization of the Žehuňský Pond, which was implemented in 2020 - 2023 and during which approximately 50,000 m3 of sediment was removed. Given that the pond has never been desilted since its founding in the 15th century, the amount of sediment before the 1st stage was estimated at approximately 480,000 m3. Its removal is necessary to preserve the valuable communities that occur in the protected area and, due to the financial cost, it can only be implemented in stages.
