Czechia – Public transport services by railways

The subject of the public contract is the performance of public services in passenger transport in public rail passenger transport in order to ensure transport serviceability, especially in the Central Bohemian Region and the Capital City of Prague, in accordance with Act No. 129/2000 Coll., on regions, as amended, Act No. 131/2000 Coll., on the Capital City of Prague, as amended, and Section 2 of Act No. 194/2010 Coll., on public services in passenger transport and on amendments to other acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "ZVS"). The subject of the public contract will be fulfilled on the basis of contracts concluded by individual contracting authorities with the supplier who submits the most economically advantageous offer. The contracts will be concluded as a so-called gross contract, where the opportunities and risks associated with the time development of the amount of revenues will be fully borne by the contracting authority. The subject of the public contract is specified in more detail in the binding draft contracts (Annex No. 4 to the tender documentation). The public contract is awarded in a tender procedure in accordance with Section 10 et seq. of the Public Procurement Act and with Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on public passenger transport services and repealing Council Regulations (EEC) Nos. 1191/69 and 1107/70, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”).
