A framework contract for the short-term preparation of traffic engineering studies is to be awarded. This will enable the Mobility Department of the City of Munich (hereinafter also referred to as the client) to have questions regarding the traffic access of urban development projects or individual construction projects, which are raised at short notice by the public or politicians, addressed by an external traffic planning firm. "Traffic engineering studies" are defined as (a) traffic impact assessments for urban development planning areas or construction projects, (b) small-scale traffic framework plans for changes in road function or road capacity, and (c) capacity analyses of intersections according to the Handbook for the Design of Road Traffic Facilities (HBS). Up to three traffic design sketches and three smaller traffic engineering studies are expected to be carried out annually.
