The sports hall in Detmerode is currently being renovated. During the renovation, significant structural defects were discovered, rendering the hall unusable. It was decided to replace the dilapidated social wing with a new functional wing featuring an adapted room layout. The construction of the new social wing requires comprehensive project planning, including careful design of the interfaces between the renovated sports hall and the new building. The new building will be based on the room layout program established by the Sports Department on September 25, 2024. The planned construction project is characterized by the following features: 1. Building type: Sports facility 2. Type of project: New construction 3. Gross floor area: approx. 775 sq m 4. Special features: Interfaces between the existing building (renovated sports hall) and the new building; due to the use of the sports hall for school sports, the building is considered a special structure, and the guidelines on building regulations for schools must also be applied. 5. Estimated project costs (cost groups 300-400 according to DIN 276): approx. €3,000,000.00 net 6. The new building is located within an area subject to a design/preservation ordinance. The intended commission includes the services of building design according to HOAI 2021, phases 1-9. In addition, selected special services should be commissioned. The anticipated timeframe is to commence construction of the new social wing in spring 2025, following completion of the tendering process for building design and specialist planning services. Anticipated timeframe: 1. Project start: approx. end of 2024 2. Phases 1-7 of the building design: spring 2025 to summer 2026 3. Construction: from autumn 2026 The completion date will be coordinated and determined during the building design services in phase 3. After completion of the tendering process, it is intended to conclude a written contract according to the attached template.
