The contractor performs results-oriented maintenance cleaning at the Hessian State Representation building, In den Ministergärten 5, 10117 Berlin, covering the following areas: Total annual cleaning area of 754,312.63 m² - Full cleaning: 347,830.69 m² - Visual cleaning: 406,481.94 m². Optional maintenance cleaning on demand: Cleaning of an additional area of 2,180.00 m². Due to building occupancy and to minimize disruption to users, maintenance cleaning is to be carried out exclusively during the night or early morning hours between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. An annual deep cleaning of 3,320.10 m² is to be performed. This includes intensive cleaning measures to remove stubborn dirt and grime that go beyond the scope of regular maintenance cleaning. Furthermore, the scope of services includes the execution of parquet sanding work on an annual area of 1,051.07 m². In addition, the contractor provides two caretaker positions: one full-time position (40 hours per week) and one caretaker's assistant (30 hours per week). The caretaker is primarily responsible – in consultation with the relevant department heads of the Hessian State Representation in the central or events division – for the scheduling and coordination of tasks related to infrastructural building management (IGM), such as setting up small stages and rows of chairs, as well as clearing up during events. This also includes coordinating cleaning, gardening, and other services provided by external tradespeople within the IGM area. The necessary coordination and execution of these tasks require the caretaker's presence on up to five Saturdays per year, by prior arrangement.
