Germany – Construction project management services – Vergabe von Projektsteuerungsleistungen

The project management services to be provided are based on the service description in the AHO publication series, Booklet No. 9 – Project Management Services in the Construction and Real Estate Industry – 5th edition, March 2020. The services are broadly categorized according to the following areas of activity: A – Organization, Information, Coordination, and Documentation; B – Quality and Quantities; C – Costs and Financing; D – Schedules, Capacities, and Logistics; and E – Contracts and Insurance. The project timeline, as defined in AHO Booklet No. 9, can be divided into the following project phases: 1. Project Preparation, 2. Planning, 3. Execution Preparation, 4. Execution, and 5. Project Closure. The following key activities should be considered in the fee proposal: coordination of project participants, documentation of essential project documents (basic data, tendering procedures, funding), monitoring of required quality (basic data, planning services), services related to project funding (coordination and compilation of required documents for funding applications, accounting, and proof of expenditure), monitoring of the budget and use of funds, coordination and monitoring of project deadlines and processes, in particular the factual and arithmetical review of any supplementary offers and (interim) invoices from the commissioned general planner, and participation in contract drafting.
