The server room described here is located in the northern part of the basement. The server room area comprises the server room itself (41 m²), a computer anteroom (15.5 m²), two UPS rooms (5 m² each), and a staging area (13 m²). Eight racks will be installed in the server room. Four racks will be used for the hospital's IT systems, and four for the network. A total IT load of 40 kW is planned. The racks will be cooled by four side-mounted coolers, which are integrated into the hot aisle containment structure. The availability class of the components is based on VK3 of DIN EN 50600. The server room is equipped with a Novec 1230 fire suppression system. The UPS systems are each designed as 60 kVA units and are intended to provide a backup time of 15 minutes. Each UPS room has a 2.5 kW ceiling-mounted cooling unit. The UPS systems are designed as modular units with external battery racks. A 1.5 kW suspended ceiling cooling unit is planned for the staging area. The entire server room area is monitored by the Kentix DCIM system. This system already exists in the existing hospital building and will be extended to include the server room. 411 Wastewater systems: Connection of the condensate drains from the cooling units to the wastewater points provided in the rooms. Construction in stainless steel and HT pipe, with insulation, suspensions, and fire-resistant penetrations. 431 Ventilation systems: Supply and exhaust ventilation of the rooms via connection to the building's central unit. Interface at the existing fire dampers in the walls facing the corridor. Ductwork in galvanized spiral duct. Volume flow controllers, silencers, disc valves, and fire dampers are planned. Exhaust ventilation of the UPS rooms via decentralized fans. Construction in PPS. Fans with explosion protection. Pressure relief damper in the server room. Interface at the overpressure duct in the wall facing the corridor. Design of a pressure relief valve with electric actuator. Controlled via a gas...
