The client intends to award general contractor services for the construction of the new Friedensstraße primary school in Cologne-Porz, including the associated double gymnasium and caretaker's apartment, as well as all necessary outdoor and exterior facilities. The contract to be awarded covers the detailed design (HOAI phase 5) and the turnkey, operational construction. The client has commissioned a general planner to prepare the designs for HOAI phases 1-4. Key details were developed by the kitchen and building design departments. The building permit application will be submitted in September 2025. According to current plans, approval is expected in early 2026. Construction is scheduled to take place between the second quarter of 2026 and the second quarter of 2028. The services will be awarded at a fixed lump sum price.
