Germany – Construction work for school buildings – Umbau und Erweiterung einer 2-zügigen Oberschule in Baruth; Los 13 – Fassade, Betonwerkstein, Häuser 3-5

The Bautzen District Office is planning the preservation and expansion of the Baruth school site in the eastern part of the Bautzen district. Formerly used as a primary school, the school complex, after renovation and expansion, will meet the current requirements for a two-stream secondary school. The building complex connects directly to the recently completed new sports hall. The tendered services include facade work on buildings 3 and 4, as well as the connecting building, building 5. The exterior walls of buildings 3, 4, and 5 are planned as double-shell masonry with core insulation and a plastered outer layer. All facade openings will be framed with precast concrete elements. The following approximate quantities are to be expected: Facade, precast concrete 1,148 m²; Outer wall, calcium silicate masonry 1,214 m²; Thermal insulation with finger gap, mineral wool 138 m²; Perimeter insulation 257 m; Expansion joints 72 units; Precast concrete exterior window sill 79 units; Precast concrete lintel 182 units; Precast concrete side reveal 14,807 units; Dowel anchors 166 units; Angle brackets 430 units; Individual brackets 351 units; Retaining brackets 1,028 units; Connecting brackets.
