EU-VT 0116-24BP Structural Works B-002775 SNV Security Checkpoint North Relocation Main Project The overall "Security Checkpoint North Relocation" project (relocation of the security checkpoints in Concourse B of Terminal 1) involves the dismantling of the existing baggage drop-off counters and their replacement with a modernized version and a reduced number of counters. The freed-up space will be repurposed for the relocation of the security checkpoints into the terminal hall, thus freeing up large areas of the space previously used for these checkpoints for other uses. The structural work contract includes demolition and remediation of hazardous materials from existing walls, ceilings, and floors. Furthermore, reinforcements to the load-bearing structure, ceiling closures in the area of the ceilings above E1 and E2, and new openings with structural measures in the area of the ceiling above E02 will be carried out.
