Germany – Construction works for recycling station – Errichtung von Hallenbauwerken inkl. Tiefbau als Teilgewerk der Wertstoff-Recycling-Anlage in Herten-Süd

AGR Abfallentsorgungs-Gesellschaft Ruhrgebiet mbH (hereinafter referred to as AGR) plans to construct and operate a new treatment plant for 500,000 t/a of bottom ash from several municipal waste incineration plants. This so-called WeRA material recycling plant will be located in the Herten-Süd industrial park, south of the RZR Herten waste-to-energy plant. The construction of the WeRA includes the erection of four buildings: (1) a processing hall, (2) a shredding hall, (3) a roof over the sorting area, and (4) a control room. The machinery will be housed in these buildings and will therefore also serve as emission control structures. For further details, please refer to the specifications.
