The aim of this tender is to supply the "New Ickern Comprehensive School" with heat through a contractor that minimizes environmental impact and ensures a high level of supply reliability while maintaining low energy costs. A company is sought to undertake the investment in the heating system, as well as the maintenance, servicing, and operation of the heat generation equipment, under a heat supply contract. The contractor's services should result in overall cost savings for the client compared to self-supply and comply with the currently applicable Heat Supply Ordinance. The existing heating system, including the distribution system, must be dismantled and disposed of by the new contractor. This must not lead to any interruption of heating during the heating season. A continuous supply of hot water to the sports hall must be guaranteed year-round. If necessary, the contractor must provide a mobile heating unit for this purpose. Construction is scheduled to begin at the start of the North Rhine-Westphalia summer holidays (July 8, 2023) and be completed by September 30, 2024. Furthermore, the existing former caretaker's building must be connected to the heating system. For this purpose, a separate distribution outlet must be created, and an underground district heating pipe must be laid to the basement of the building in question. Bidders have the option of installing a photovoltaic system on the designated roof area to power the heat pump system.
