Germany – Engineering design services – Ersatzneubau der Georg-Scherer-Halle des Sportvereins ASV Dachau e.V. samt Parkhaus - HLS

The city of Dachau, in cooperation with ASV Dachau e.V., intends to construct a replacement building for the Georg-Scherer-Halle as a school and club sports hall. The sports hall is to be designed as a club sports hall with up to 1,500 spectator seats, as well as for use as a triple school gymnasium. A parking garage is also planned as part of the project, and this is included in the planning contract. The project must be designed to be implemented in two construction phases. In the first phase, Phase 1 will focus on the sports hall with changing rooms and facilities for children's lunchtime supervision, followed by Phase 2 on the parking garage. Phase 3 of the second phase will include the sports club's administration offices and additional sports facilities. The hall will be used by various club teams (including the men's volleyball team in the first Bundesliga). The sports hall, specifically the areas relevant for physical education classes, is to be subsidized with public funds.
