Germany – Engineering-design services for traffic installations – Verkehrszeichenplanung Landgrabenstraße / Gibitzenhofstraße, Nürnberg

The condition of the tram infrastructure on Landgrabenstraße/Gibitzenhofstraße is now severely worn and approaching its limit of durability. As part of the comprehensive renewal project, the infrastructure will be brought back into compliance with BOStrab regulations, including the optimization of track geometry for improved driving dynamics in this area. To support the planning process for the "Landgrabenstraße/Gibitzenhofstraße" project, VAG (Nuremberg Transport Authority) requires an external partner for the creation and approval of traffic sign plans, including signage plans. The following services are required: Comprehensive preparation of the traffic sign planning and traffic engineering documents (VTU) based on the RSA (Guidelines for Traffic Signage), ASR A5.2 (Technical Rules for Traffic Signage), the guidelines for the interaction of ASR A5.2 and RSA, and the RiLSA (Guidelines for Traffic Signage) for the construction measures of the "Landgrabenstraße/Gibitzenhofstraße" project. In summary, the work can be roughly described as follows: - Creation of traffic sign plans for the construction areas - Creation of traffic sign plans for traffic diversions - Creation of the traffic engineering documentation (VTU) for traffic signal systems - Participation in the preparation of the tender documents for traffic control - Acceptance of the traffic sign plans - Participation in traffic meetings and cross-project meetings - Participation in site visits (including regular construction site meetings) - Independent coordination with traffic authorities and other relevant interfaces
