The client is a public transport company owned by the State of Berlin. Its core business is the transportation of passengers via public transport. Providing this service requires various back-end systems, including complex communication and IT computing systems. These systems support the planning, monitoring, and control processes within the framework of operational planning. To ensure the required availability, the IT infrastructure must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. BVG operates a remote control and fault reporting system throughout the entire Berlin U-Bahn network and in its properties. This system will be completely renewed within this project and connected via the existing switch infrastructure. As part of the reconstruction of Paradestraße station, various construction measures will be carried out to improve functionality and passenger comfort. The new construction includes exits III/2 and III/4, as well as smoke extraction shafts 2 and 3. In addition, the road surfaces and the surrounding area will be adapted in accordance with the specifications of the planning approval and the heritage preservation office. The existing concourse will be remodeled to integrate the new Exit III/2, and a new concourse will be constructed for Exit III/4. Furthermore, smoke extraction shafts will be installed and the associated access routes adapted. The aim of the project is to commission a company to competently and promptly handle the planning and construction supervision for the project "Installation of new entrances and barrier-free upgrade" at the U6 Paradestraße subway station. This encompasses service phases 1-3 and 5-8 as defined in Section 55 of the German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI). The construction project is currently in service phase 5.
