The subject of this framework agreement is the establishment of a company bicycle leasing program for all eligible employees of the City of Bautzen covered by collective bargaining agreements. Based on approximately 500 employees of the City of Bautzen covered by collective bargaining agreements, it is estimated that roughly 10-15 percent of the workforce will take advantage of the program. The framework agreement for the provision of brand-new bicycles through leasing includes establishing the necessary prerequisites for setting up a leasing program, as well as the terms and conditions for the provision and comprehensive processing of the individual leasing contracts. The agreement also includes insurance and service provisions, as well as an introductory session for all eligible participants in the leasing program. Ordering, return, and damage processing, maintenance, repairs, and incident management are handled via a web-based online portal. The leasing program allows for both business and private use of the company bicycle.
