The LAND L(i)EBEN project is funded by grants from the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Construction (BMWSB) and the KfW Development Bank under the "Model Projects Smart Cities: Urban Development and Digitalization (436)" guideline. Phase 2 (Implementation) of the Integrated Measure "Lovable Kusel Region" will be implemented through various sub-projects to achieve its objectives. One sub-project of "Lovable Kusel Region" is called "Cultural Treasures.digital." The aim of this sub-project is to enrich existing analog offerings of regional cultural heritage by linking them with new digital media, thereby making local customs and the stories behind the objects visible. To this end, digital experiences will be created in various museums in the Kusel district. The goal of this call for proposals is to develop an overarching concept or storyline encompassing all individual digital experiences. Furthermore, for the first six museums, the existing thematic outlines will be developed into detailed concepts in terms of content, technology, and media. The conceived content will then be implemented as a digital experience within the museums. These detailed concepts will be aligned with the museums' thematic priorities and seamlessly integrated into the overall concept. Each experience will be individually tailored to the specific circumstances, challenges, and exhibition content of the individual museums. The digital experiences will be based on augmented reality and will incorporate a media mix (e.g., animations, audio, videos, mini-games, etc.). The digital experiences will be implemented across multiple interactive stations within the museums. This includes the conceptual and media-related development, the selection of locations within the respective museums, and the technical and design implementation, including content production.
