The Obernsees Thermal Baths Association is planning to upgrade the sauna area at the Obernsees Thermal Baths. This will require the partial demolition and reconstruction of the existing sauna, including all necessary measures. These include: a sauna extension and conversion (two to three stories); connection to the existing structure and deep foundation work; slope stabilization; specialist foundation engineering; construction of a new reinforced concrete (RCT) floor slab and ceiling above the ground floor; construction of the first and second floors in RCT; consideration of an alternative steel-timber construction for the ceiling above the first floor (restaurant); and support of the first floor and the technical building (including the first and second floors) with RCT columns extending to the floor slab. The changing area will be expanded with an extension. The existing kitchen will be enlarged. A new, single-story relaxation building will be constructed separately in the outdoor area. - Construction of a new reinforced concrete (RCT) foundation slab - Steel columns and ceiling above the ground floor in timber construction.
