Passau Hospital (“Klinikum”) is the leading specialized hospital in Eastern Bavaria with approximately 2,000 employees. Its 19 departments, with a total of 660 beds (including the Hellge Clinic), 10 dialysis stations, and 8 partial-inpatient pain therapy stations, provide inpatient care to around 37,000 patients and outpatient care to around 41,000 patients annually. The objective of this procurement procedure is therefore the delivery and commissioning of two automated dispensing cabinets, along with training, service, and maintenance. Specifically, in accordance with the specifications and quantity requirements, the following services are to be procured: • Delivery and commissioning of two identical automated dispensing cabinets • Provision of user training for key users and administrators • Service and maintenance for the electronically controlled storage of controlled substances. A detailed description of the individual components and their respective performance requirements can be found in the specifications and the quantity list of medications to be stored in the medicine cabinets, which is part C of the tender documents (“tender documents” (“contract and annexes”). Delivery and commissioning of the electronic medicine cabinets must take place no later than three months after the contract award.
