Germany – Miscellaneous evaluation or testing instruments – Rahmenvertrag mit Abrufvereinbarung für den Kauf von Mundhöhlenabstrichtupfern

The subject of this contract is the purchase of the buccal swabs described in Section I, Paragraph 4 – Scope of Services – for the Forensic Science Institute of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (BLKA). The client estimates an annual requirement of approximately 60,000 swabs – based on experience from previous years. This figure of 60,000 swabs is for calculation purposes only. Experience has shown that the client typically places orders of approximately 30,000 swabs every six months. The maximum annual purchase quantity available under this framework agreement is 100,000 swabs. The stated estimates may be exceeded or fallen short of at any time. Actual over- or under-demand does not entitle the contractor to price increases or other claims. This framework agreement does not obligate the client to purchase the swabs. Delivery is made upon request via individual orders submitted in writing (by email) to the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, Criminalistics Institute – Department 203, Maillingerstraße 15, 80636 Munich, Germany. Individual orders are placed by Department 203. For orders of up to 30,000 units, the first partial delivery, comprising at least one-third of the total order quantity, must be delivered within a maximum of 14 days. The second third must be delivered within a maximum of 28 days of the order. The final partial delivery, comprising one-third, must be delivered no later than 42 days after the order. If the order exceeds these quantities, an extension of the respective delivery deadlines by a further 14 days is acceptable.
