Over the course of four years (2023 to 2026), LMU will upgrade a total of 36 teaching rooms (lecture halls and seminar rooms) in the main building at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1 (GSP 1), very close to the Siegestor (Victory Gate) in Munich, to the latest media technology. This will also include the upgrading of blackout and lighting systems in some rooms, as well as minor structural work (not part of this tender). Nine of these rooms will be renovated each year, during the break between the summer and winter semesters. This tender includes the rooms to be modernized during the summer break of 2025: • B 106 • M 001 • M 101 • M 105 • M 109 • M 110 • M 114 • M 118 • M 218. The work will take place during the summer semester break of 2025 (July 28 to October 10). The defect-free acceptance inspections must be completed no later than 2 weeks before the start of lectures (which is on October 13, 2025).
