The contractor (AN) supplies bus tires to the client's (AG) depots in the Berlin area. He also mounts these bus tires (if necessary) onto rims provided by Lot 2. To ensure adherence to deadlines (mounting and delivery within 24 hours of order placement), he maintains a minimum stock of rims. Furthermore, in the event of a rim change, the contractor must either transfer the tire pressure sensors mounted on the rim or, if they are damaged or have a dead battery, mount a new sensor onto the new rim. Bidders offer two different tire brands per tire size as new tires and one tire type as a hot retread. During the contract period, one of the two new tire brands will be primarily ordered. The contractor will be informed in advance in writing of any changes to the primarily ordered tire brand. The timely delivery of tires to the client's depots is of fundamental importance for this contract. To ensure adherence to delivery deadlines, the contractor must maintain a warehouse or logistics/service partner within a 200km radius of Alexanderplatz, Berlin, no later than four weeks after the contract start date. This warehouse or partner must store and maintain a sufficient number of tires for prompt retrieval. The contractor will be informed in a timely manner of the opening of additional depots within the Berlin city limits, which the contractor will then also be required to supply with tires. The contractor will be granted a reasonable period to prepare for deliveries to the new depots. | The contractor will supply rims for bus tires to the successful bidder of Lot 1.
